British Cooking

Nearly all the girls and boys of the third form took part in a British Cooking Workshop organised by Ms Preining and Ms Hochreiter. After studying English kitchen utensils and cooking terms we quickly got  used to speaking English in the kitchen.

Our main dish was a veggie burger with salad, tomatoes and cheese and of course, self-made bread. As a side dish we prepared a delicious salad with cheese, different herbs and some tomatoes. For dessert we baked Chocolate Muffins  and SCONES. Maybe, you have never had Scones before. They are a typical Scottish bakery, tasting a bit like our „Brioche“.

All in all it was a delicious  morning having fun with English recipes and an unforgettable cooking experience.
